Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a beautiful encounter with God’s mercy and forgiveness. Through sincere sorrow, confession, and a desire to make amends, we receive forgiveness for sins committed after Baptism and are renewed in our relationship with God and the Church.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated:
- Saturdays following the 8:00am Mass
- Saturdays from 3:00–4:00pm
Communal Reconciliation Services are offered at various times throughout the year. Confession may also be arranged by contacting a priest.
Children traditionally prepare for First Reconciliation in second grade, before receiving First Holy Communion in third grade. Older children who have not yet received the Sacrament of Reconciliation may prepare through our Faith Formation Program.
