Confirmation
Just as our bodies and minds grow, our souls are also called to grow in faith and grace. The Sacrament of Confirmation strengthens the grace received at Baptism and deepens our relationship with Christ and His Church. Together with Baptism and the Holy Eucharist, Confirmation completes the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.
In the Diocese of Erie, students ordinarily receive Confirmation in ninth grade. Students must participate in the required faith formation and sacramental preparation, including those who attend a Catholic high school. Because preparation begins before the Confirmation year, families are encouraged to contact us early.
Adults age 18 or older who have not received some or all of their sacraments, including Confirmation, are invited to participate in OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). Please contact the rectory office to inquire.
