Usher

Ushers are a welcoming and familiar presence within the worshiping community of Saint George Church. Through their warmth, hospitality, and spirit of service, they help create an atmosphere where every parishioner and visitor feels welcomed, respected, and at home.

As ministers of hospitality, ushers greet those who enter the church, assist with seating and special needs, help maintain an orderly and prayerful environment, and offer guidance whenever needed. Their ministry reflects the Catholic call to welcome others as members of one faith community and to serve with kindness, dignity, and joy.

Ushers are scheduled with consideration for their preferred Mass and availability. Above all, they serve as a visible sign of Saint George’s commitment to hospitality, community, and reverence in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
