Holy Orders
The Sacrament of Holy Orders continues Christ’s mission through the ordained ministry of bishops, priests, and deacons. Through this sacrament, men are called and consecrated to serve God’s people by proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and caring for the Church.
A vocation to the priesthood or diaconate begins with prayer, discernment, and a willingness to listen for God’s call. If you feel that God may be calling you to ordained ministry, we encourage you to speak with one of our parish priests or deacons.
Women discerning a vocation to religious or consecrated life are also encouraged to reach out. The Church is blessed by the faithful witness and service of religious sisters, nuns, consecrated women, and lay ministers. Our Parish Office can help connect you with vocation resources through the Diocese of Erie.
